SwitchGear began as a personal journey — shaped by years of feeling disconnected from the clothing I wore.
Standard fits didn’t feel right. The cuts, the proportions, the way fabric sat on my body. None of it reflected who I knew myself to be. Getting dressed often felt like highlighting everything I was trying to quiet.
Instead of forcing myself to fit into designs that weren’t made for me, I chose to create something different.
Out of honoring my body and creating space for others to do the same, SwitchGear was forged. A purpose-driven brand for anyone evolving into their most authentic self.
This is for every person who’s ever felt out of place and bold enough to grow, shift, or redefine who they are.
The Polyphemus Moth became our symbol. It transforms in silence, then emerges with wings wide enough to claim the sky. A reminder that change is powerful. Not always loud, but always real.
